I can’t quite comprehend and still many clinical trial papers that many patients no doubt would like to read and behind a paywall. It’s entirely unacceptable. Journals should make articles used in potentially life altering clinical decision making free. How are they not.

People who think AI tools like ChatGPT do a great job at summarising and interpreting research papers have not both read the papers and use ChatGPT. Goodness its performance is awful.

Ahhh feeling this again. Another bit of bad news just as I am feeling a bit like myself after surgery. It’s never ending. I wish I had just one appointment where I’d go and see a surgeon and oncologist and they’d tell me “things are going great”. Or one treatment that wasn’t torture.

It’s hard to manage work when being ill means even on good weeks you have to a million appointments. Next week Monday I have pre surgical planning appt and a nurse appointment, Tuesday vaccinations at pharmacy, Wednesday MRI, Thursday oncologist appointment, and Friday appointment with surgeon.
