Have any of you played Noxcrew's new featured Minecraft server on Bedrock? It looks super interesting, but Bedrock isn't natively available on Mac so I'd have to jump through hoops to try it. Really curious about it! Has heavy Sands of Time mixed with RPG vibes.

Recently got a custom cape made by @goodly.bsky.social! It's my swirl design - in the style of the old Minecon capes. I've been loving it in-game! I think my daily mods will always include a custom cape mod now so I can equip it instead of a vanilla one! #mcartday

Bluesky is so wonderful but I seem to bump into and talk to the same people repeatedly. They’re all great convos so I’m not complaining, but man I wish more of the MC community make the switch. Shoutout all the Mojang devs who’ve moved to Bluesky they’ve definitely made moving here more enticing!

Remember Hypixel? I really hope they’re working on updating to the latest version. Very innovative server at its peak but it being stuck on such an old version is such a hindrance to what they can do. All the games I used to play, like paintball have 0-5 players on most of the time nowadays…

IMO, one of Mojang's biggest missed opportunities was Minecraft Earth. The game had so much potential that wasn't capitalized upon. Had a great little community and dev team too. Still miss the game today. 😢

Very odd, a new cape was just cached on NameMC - it appears to be the old Oxeye Game Studio logo (creators of Cobalt). Seems like a player might've gotten the cape accidentally, but it just makes me wonder how many other capes are just hidden in the API and unused to our knowledge.

Recently finished reading Max Brooks' Minecraft novels. What a great trilogy! Audiobook for the first book had Jack Black as the narrator which was very exciting. Thank you to @helenangel.bsky.social for the recommendation. Going to read Catherynne's Minecraft novel some time this year too.

Spoiler-Free A Minecraft Movie Review: So much ❤️ went into this. A very fun movie. Lots of cameos and Easter eggs fans will love. Watched it in 3D & I’m going to watch it again in standard as well. Unexpectedly charming, and makes me excited for hopefully more movies in the MC universe!

Minecraft Experience London Review: Surprised this was fun for all ages! Reminded me a lot of the little cave maze they had at Minecon Paris. Hope they do adults nights like they did with the US event, would be fun with a more mature crowd! Can you beat my groups score?

People with a long-term survival world: What are common things that inspire you to boot up your world after a long break?

The Happy Ghast feels so much like modded Minecraft, having a Ghast in the overworld feels so foreign. It has a very useful utility too. Overall a great but surprising feature, makes me excited for the future knowing Mojang isn't too scared to add very unique mobs/features to the game.
