Rare ores are a little less rare in the new Snapshot xD Kinda wild seeing this happen, but it makes sense with how the generation currently works. I imagine this will be addressed in some way, though.

I think I'm gonna commit a little more to the username "Rosyfia". (I pronounce it "Rose-if-ee-ah") It's essentially a combination of Rose and Fia, which I kinda wanted to use equally but both weren't unique enough to be generally available. I quite like Rosyfia though. :3

Thinkin' about it, Speleothems are just a goated block aren't they? You mean I get an awesome looking spike with unique functionality that provides inherent renewability for its entire block set?? I don't think anyone would be upset if we got these for every stone type xD

Somewhat silly suggestion, but what if you could mix & match different Speleothem? (aka spikes) They actually line up pretty perfectly, and although they don't necessarily mesh super well, I think there'd be some use cases. (particularly tipping dripstone with sulfur)

Also Drops are now 2 for 2 on a significant aspect of the new biome being revealed after LIVE, which happens to involve renewability for both! Very curious what else we'll see this Drop. (still hoping for renewable cinnabar, and less likely but a place for slimes to call home)

Sulfur Spikes & recolored Sulfur & Cinnabar blocksets! Sulfur Spikes grow when placed below Sulfur (no water needed), *don't* deal increased damage when falling on them (still hurt when they fall on you), and can be crafted into Sulfur. (renewable sulfur yay 🎉)

Found this while checking out the new Sulfur Caves, and just like, what the heck this is so cool like what. Seed: -4034836512258091546 Coordinates: X: -3359 Z: -5489

Sulfur Caves now on Java! Immediate impressions: Sulfur Pools seem much more common and more of a proper feature, Sulfur Springs also appear to much more common (I never found any on BE), and Cave Spiders now spawn here! All very good things I think. -b

Iirc some Devs have explicitly stated that they don'tuse April Fools to test features. *However* that doesn't mean they don't take inspiration from these or gauge the community's response to certain things, which might be more accurately why we tend to see very similar features implemented.

Honestly I'm kinda glad Java's Snapshot got delayed. What was showcased at LIVE was likely on Java, and seems to be further along in development (sulfur cube physics and whatnot), so only having it on BE means it still gets to shine, despite being a bit behind.

I think Twitter's down. I had a joking thought of "that's Twitter on a good day", and was like nah it does at least function usually. But then I thought, "No that is Twitter on a good day. A good Twitter is no Twitter." (apologies for making you look at that word so much)

I wonder if Vibrant Visuals might finally get colored water in Chaos Cubed? For the most part I think it's fine for water to be clear, but in certain cases like swamps & sulfur caves where it's meant to have a more unique color, it definitely should.

Sulfur Caves! I think the generation could use some work; Would love to see the water pools be more prominent, and I'm not sure how I feel about the high volume of glow lichen. But otherwise I think it's looking pretty nice! The colors will definitely spice up cave exploration.

Sulfur Springs on the Overworld! I hadn't considered that as a possibility, but I had wondered how obnoxious it'll be to try and find a new cave biome in an existing world. Glad to see an above ground indicator like the Azalea Tree! (although so far this seems to be a pretty rare feature)

Woahhh ok I need need NEEEED this to become a regular thing. People will always just make believe if something changed based on feedback or not, but we never actually KNOW that unless Mojang themselves say.
