Loved Sinners, great, great movie and really glad I caught it at the Grand Lake in 70mm.

Paul Newman chose the Speedster for Harper (1966), and because he is a king, nine years later in the sequel The Drowning Pool (1975) he couldn’t resist a small Porsche shout-out.

Freaky Tales (2024) was a lot of fun, though very much my era and locale, really loved the details.

Okay, Chevy Chase doing Midwestern summer stock with Paul Lynde and it (of course) ending badly is pretty funny.

Watched Ice Station Zebra (1968) and it wasn’t great, though good old TCM afterwards played a short on the work of John M. Stephens who developed cameras and shots for the underwater sequences and was similarly instrumental in the camerawork for the very cool Grand Prix (1966).
