This looks absolutely incredible! This would have saved me so many headaches looking for Xbox Adaptive Controller peripherals when I was first building my adaptive gaming set up when I became disabled in 2021. Hope it becomes available to the rest of the world soon! 😃

Same can be said about accessibility. Often I've heard of the fear of getting it perfect and if it's not then disabled players will be upset. But I often say try to make it as best as you can and then iterate on it in the future so you can get it right. You can't learn unless you try.

It's actually a great accessibility feature for me as someone who is partially deaf. I often turn off main game volume as it feels white noisy. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers put the important sound effects in the controller and it helped out so much.

As a motor-disabled person who had to say good bye to this series when it stopped using traditional turn-based strategy, it’s nice to see there is an option to just enjoy the story, though I’m sad I would still miss the gameplay.

I wish more people realized difficulty settings are also accessibility settings for some disabilities. I'm autistic and there are games I've played where I repeatedly die to the same enemies over and over and have been close to and actually have had meltdowns due to being too overwhelmed.

A transcript is the only way to make video or audio content accessible to someone who is both deaf and blind. Transcripts can be converted into braille, to be read on a refreshable braille output device.

Hollow Knight Silksong Options Menu. Sadly no accessibility menu, and the only options I could see for accessibility are full controller remapping, vibration on/off, HUD scale sizing from Off/Small/Large, Camera Shake On/Off, Hero Voice On/Off during gameplay/combat and that's about it.

Also asking devs to not make people feel BAD for using the settings?? I loved Control and the accessibility settings were great but when you scroll to them the game actually tells you off and asks you NOT to use them because it's "not how the game is supposed to be played". My friends, no.

So glad to hear that the Resident Evil Requiem demo at Gamescom has the ability to switch between first and third person gameplay perspectives! As someone who struggles with both spatial awareness and motion sickness, this feature will be so helpful if kept for the final release! ☺️

Disability awareness goes far beyond simply being aware that disabilities exist. True disability awareness involves being aware of the barriers to accessibility disabled individuals face on a daily basis and striving to be more aware of how to change this.

My Windows Magnifier issue is still happening, even after a reinstall of Windows. I'm at a complete loss as to what to do. I've even tried using the same keyboard/mouse on my gaming PC and it works. So either I do a reformat of my PC or get a new one which it may be due. This is a 6 year old PC.

After 4 days, an escalation to Tier 2 of Microsoft Support and a reinstall of Windows 11 later, the issue is still happening. Not as often, it's once every hour or so, but it's so inconsistent that I still have no idea what is causing it. I don't know what to do.

(1/10) To anyone who uses Dragon on Windows 10, delay your upgrade to Windows 11 until a day of plentiful spoons, or see if you can pay for the Extended Security Updates for one extra year ($30). Dragon 10-15 are incompatible, unless you're prepared to use Dictation Box everywhere.
