The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is prepared for the annual Good Friday pilgrimage to El Santuario de Chimayó, a tradition that draws thousands of walkers from across the region. Remember…there will be signs, follow them.

NMDOT, in partnership with the Federal Highway Administration, is studying ways to improve the long-term safety and resilience of U.S. 180 where it crosses the Gila River near Cliff. Please attend the public meeting to learn more, view recommended concepts, and share your comments.

A traffic and safety analysis was completed at the intersection of New Mexico State Road 333 and New Mexico State Road 217, located just south of Interstate 40 in the Tijeras canyon and now it is time to share the information.
