After releasing Zara I thought there was no possible way to improve my breast physics and rig, but I somehow did it again. From 16 bones per breast down to just five with no loss in functionality. I even improved some things while I was at it.

I was able to remove two bones, reducing the count to 16 bones per breast. Any lower and I wouldn't have proper squish and stretch where I want it. It's still two bones more than my old rig, but it needs no blendshapes for volume preservation, meaning outfits are more optimized.

When attempting to simplify your breast rig goes wrong. I guess 18 bones is the lower limit for what I'm trying to achieve.

Empty weight "recoil bones" don't do anything. If it's the last bone in the chain, and it has no weight, it affects nothing. You're just wasting bones in your armature.

One last update on my PC situation: I installed my old CPU and motherboard and have had no crashes or bluescreens. I'm talking with Intel customer support about an RMA, though I'd much rather get a refund and switch to AMD at this point. I've lost all faith in Intel's products. Do not buy a 14900K.

After my experience with the 14900K, I'm never buying an Intel product again.

I've mostly migrated my system to a fresh install of Windows on a new SSD. Still having issues getting things working, like my Wacom Center app not launching, but I'm on the downhill of this mountain of bullshit. I'm so glad I keep all of my work files on a NAS, or this would have been way worse.
