What I love about reading an excellent book, seeing a great movie or tv show, is the awe I have for the humans who made them. That "Wow! How did they DO this?" magic. I just can't/won't feel the same excitement about robot generated art...or art I suspect is generated by or with the help of robots.

I'm signed up to go to AWP in LA in March for the first time, in anticipation of my book release this year and was REALLY excited to meet fellow writers from around the country IRL. I'm going to have to work through a lot of fear of flying in order to go. I don't know if I'll be able to.

Does anyone feel safe flying at this point? Given recent changes in aviation and ensuing recent events? I'm always a little afraid to fly but now I cannot imagine it.
