Last pickup from the London Gaming Market was this Sharp Famicom Disk System, which apparently works just fine. Waiting for a suitable 240v power supply to arrive before taking it for a spin

More haul from Sunday's trip, 2 for 1 today, picked up a copy of Mario's Tennis for the Nintendo Virtual Boy (I don't have one but figured I'll pick it up while I see it) and some Super Famicom games. Loving the box art on these games, always more vibrant than the US/EU versions

Next little bit from the London Gaming Market (yes I'm posting one at a time to make it look like I'm active), a Chocobo themed Wonderswan and two games. One I think is a Mystery Dungeon, the other I'm not sure yet. Sadly the screen is broken, I will have to have a look and see what can be done.

Links Awakening on Game Boy, I remember seeing previews before it came out and it was like SNES Zelda but portable! I still think it's incredible how much Zelda they managed to fit in to that grey cartridge at the time

My work have gone an AI spree recently, culminating (so far) in a bot that you're supposed to ask all sorts of questions about where to find files, IT support, policies etc. Soon as that thing appeared in Teams with a friendly 'Hello Vepai' it was blocked and disabled (short 🧵)

I saw this Nintendo Game Boy at the back of a game store from about 5 metres away. It's sooo pretty, a shiny blue colour with the Final Fantasy cover plate. Looks like it's never been used, both console and game boxes are perfect with everything included (won't talk about how much it cost me)

I saw @retroelin.bsky.social had one of these (thanks for having cool things), I'd never seen one before then but knew I neeeeeded one as soon as I found out they existed! Love how much like the Game Boy it is.

This was the main part of my recent purchase, a US SNES! I've wanted to get one for a long time, theyre harder to get outside the USA. This one is boxed with everything included

Next up, these two. I loved Sim City growing up, so couldn't resist getting the Saturn version. Sonic R was just another obvious grab for me, no manual with it sadly

Next part of yesterdays pick up. I played Daytona in arcade and Destruction Derby on PS1 and later PC. So much fun smashing cars to pieces!

New haul today, which is good because it gives me something to post about! First up is Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo for the NTSC SNES. Bit different for me at least, being UK based the USA carts aren't seen too often. Manual is a bit rough but otherwise decent condition
