Loving this live cam of the little bundle of cheetah cubs and their mother (currently in Den 2) at the Smithsonian zoo. They’ve grown noticeably in the last few weeks.

. Now hanging in Liverpool, "Stone Wall, Cottage" came out of my brief life on the north coast of Donegal, where me and my little dog would walk 5-mile loops enjoying the views of the Seven Sisters. I can't look at it without remembering her.

Just catching the end of a 2010 concert on BBC4 with various artists performing Nick Drake songs. I know almost nothing about him except the odd song here and there. This is excellent if anyone can track it down again.

Bouncy landing at Dublin airport earlier prompted some clapping from the People Who Clap When Planes Land. A few threw a smile and a “fair play to him!” at the cabin crew as they got off.

Cats to the vet today for routine stuff. This lad is nearly 7kg. “He might be *a bit* large, maybe,” the vet says.

Tomorrow I'll be in Liverpool, so here's a sketch I did there a couple of years back, on the day we interred my mother's ashes in her hometown - as I cycled to Waterloo and sketched this group of buildings on South Rd before returning to family and going to the cemetery.

from Ireland's south coast. "Ardmore" is an exalted place for me, not because of the Round Tower, but because when I was small I stayed in a caravan and every day you'd jump over the dunes to the beach after first eating a bowl of Puffa Puffa Rice.

There's a sanctuary in Meath that takes in often disabled cows and let's them live out their life happily but they're being evicted. If anybody has a few hectares and wouldn't mind cattle on them you should get in contact with them. It's heartstone sanctuary
