Whenever I see something “powered by AI”

100% Unreal Engine is also everywhere. I prefer pixel art games. I can freely search 'pixel art' on steam, which filters out any UE games, including ones that I may actually be interested in. This lowers the sales for UE games. If we are accepting AI as an art form, then this is analogous.

It is harrowing to see an ardent cultural push to outright annihilate any and all explicit media. Personal experience in strict and intrusive environments has made it very clear eradication of any component culturally is not a valid avenue. It simply does not work.

I hate how people's worry over AI is now becoming a means for people to try and slight creators who haven't used it at all. Vigilance and care is important, but baseless accusations are more damaging than people think. Ask the question, sure, but don't accuse people with it.

The UK Online Safety Act has to be one of the worst, most ill-considered ideas we've put forward in a fair while. The reasons it is ridiculous are plentiful and exceptionally easy to establish. Considering safety is in the name, it is grossly unsafe.
