No matter how complex Syria’s background is in terms of history, politics, social fabric, economy, etc., writing a constitution does not require three years, and preparing the country for elections does not need four years. If necessary, I can provide examples from around the world.

I am pleased to announce that my three poems, 'Everything loves you', 'Education', and 'War', will be published by Literaria Journal in India next year.

3/3 It was a rational dictatorship, where everything inside the country was controlled by the state's apparatuses while being submissive regarding international relations. In Iraq, egoistic Saddam challenged the the USA, which made him irrational.

2/3 The two countries are different. The context and the times when the falls occurred happened in different circumstances. In Syria, al-Assad family has taken charge of the country longer and with some sense of rationality.

1/3 There is a lot of talk about Syria turning into another Iraq in terms of conflict escalation. The Syrian context can easily be confused with its neighbouring Iraq and what happened there after the fall of Saddam Hussein.
