Library Returns: Soul on Ice by Eldridge Cleaver (1.5 ⭐) First 90 pages were ok, everything afterwards was bizarre & extremely homophobic. A whole chapter throwing a tantrum that James Baldwin dislikes writers that the author likes, which ends with Cleaver comparing gays to pedophiles. #booksky

Library Returns: Life For Sale by Yukio Mishima (3.5 ⭐) Super hard to rate, I loved it's absurdity & dry humour, but the author's misogyny is also very present. I'd honestly love to read a book about him as it seems he had a fascinating (if a little scary) life. #booksky

Finished book 4 of tgcf yesterday. 4.75 ⭐ - so close to a 5 star tbh because the reveals were so good. I'm not going to in depth, but I may be enjoying this series even more than mdzs which seems sacrilegious because that series changed my brain chemistry for the better. #booksky #danmei #mxtx
