I have one million actual tokens for #MTG, but making my own is fun! Treasure, food, clue, storm, food, and the five colours of mana for tracking, made by writing on an inner sleeve over whatever art cards make me happiest.

So there’s this #MTG format called 7 Point Highlander, and it is INSANELY fun! Singleton 60 card format, vintage card pool/ban list, and a list of pointed cards that you can have 7 worth of (8 if you don’t use reserve list cards).

AND THE PULLS FOR THIS SET WERE OFF THE CHARTS! A foil Vampiric Tutor, a foil Cyclonic Rift, a Japanese Cyclonic Rift, and that’s just the biggest three from my collector box… #mtg Secrets of Strixhaven has become my favourite set, possibly ever!

#Strixhaven Prerelease was SO GOOD TO ME! On the event side: Event 1: Silverquill box, built Silverquill, came 6th (2-1) which was my best result ever. Event 2: Lorehold box, built Lorehold, came 16th but had a blast Event 3: Lorehold box, built SILVERQUILL, went 2-1 (5-2-0) for 3rd! Place! 😤 #mtg

The one downside of the new job is the return to regular hours (8:30-4:30) from irregular escape room shifts (anywhere from 10am to 11pm). Trying to wake up earlier and earlier in the lead-up to the job has resulted in a very sleepy Pixel... 😴

It barely feels real yet, but I finally have a new job! A full time one, with decent pay and benefits, something that will get me out from the pit of despair that casual, irregular shifts had sunk me into. Didn’t think I’d make it, but here I am.
