honestly rebinding the caps lock key to a function key (i think f9, but might try f5 for refresh) is one of the most satisfying little tweaks i've made to my computer. i never ever pressed that key before but now especially in games it's Free Reachable Button

of all the movement options in silksong, Save and Quit is the most underrated. it heals you, teleports you to a safe area, and it's one of the first abilities you unlock. it even has the added benefit of letting you close the game when you get to some nonsense you don't feel like doing

a large portion of my complaints with silksong's difficulty could be remedied by a game mode that gave you infinite silkeaters
