I was 11 when Columbine happened. This echoes so much of what I sat in Sunday school and listened to about being willing to give your life to not deny your faith. Scary, scary shit. I wish my church didn't make me deeply contemplate my own death at age 11. I never stopped.

@dark1x.bsky.social If anyone is doing the Switch 2 port of Skyrim it looks like the Gesture Control setting is having an impact on input lag. At least anecdotally, I feel a difference but can’t be certain how much or if it’s just me imagining it. But it has a serious input issue on default.

I did oil changes and tires at Wal-Mart for 8 years, and we had conference marked on our shop calendar. Absolute worst working weekends of the year. So busy, and so many people who just treated you like absolute garbage. I hated conference weekends.

Microsoft is really helping their team reach that impossible 30% margin. You can't buy or install the game on launch day.

I used to buy into the manosphere BS. A real “nice guy” who treated everyone around him as expendable or as objects to achieve my own goals, not as people.
