Finally free of the Adobe ecosystem. Sacked off the monthly subscription for the Affinity suite instead. The only thing I think I'm going to miss is the Adobe Fonts.

I now live vicariously through Bluesky, watching other people hoard CDs & records. I once had a fairly big collection, around 4,000 releases (ok, small compared to some). It became a total pain to move house, a pain to store, and also a pain to find the thing you actually wanted to listen to.

I seem to have tuned my feed to be 90% posts about middle-aged people playing records, tapes and CDs and posting the physical artefact for others to see. I am 100% ok with how my Bluesky experience has turned out.
