Circling back to this I almost wish I'd filmed my reaction as I recognized Sonic Boom in the first few seconds and literally, and I do mean literally, bolted sharply upright in my seat at it. Sonic CD is my favorite game in the whole franchise and I have listened to Sonic Boom DOZENS of times.

I really enjoyed Z-A to be honest. Felt like a proper conclusion to the story started in XY, and I enjoyed the combat and how much moving to reposition a Pokemon mattered at higher levels. Or timing switch outs just right to waste the opposing Pokemon's move. No interest in the DLC. But I liked it.

Jesus Christ I did not expect Legends Z-A to be this long story-wise.

Starting construction on the repaired Pokemon Center seems like a perfect stopping point for the day.

Did I just spend nearly 2 hours sorting my MLP card collection? Yes. Yes I did. Mind you most of that was unsleeving other cards so I could resleeve my pony cards with consistent card sleeve colors. Still. Worth it.

Pokopia is sold out at all my local Walmarts, Gamestops and Targets. It's BIG big. Legit system seller. I saw at least one other person come in with trade ins for a Switch 2 and Pokopia.

Today was a very productive day.

Went back and spent the remaining 35 toward an eshop card so I can grab online and maybe some indies.

LMAO. Between the Series X, some controllers, the Amiibo and older games... $963. LMAO. Switch 2, 5 games, pro controller, 500GB SSS card and a Transformer for @thedoctorwho.bsky.social and I still have $35 left.

While I've been waiting at GameStop doing trade in I've seen no fewer than 4 people come in to buy Pokopia. The guy working the counter said he's had at least 7 sales since open. Games gonna be big.

Getting a Switch 2. Just waiting for a final total between Series X, Amiibo and some other trade ins.

So if everything goes well I'll pick up a Switch 2 tomorrow and Pokopia. I'll hopefully have enough for a second game as well - but having trouble deciding on which game. I've got it narrowed down to 4. Mario Kart World Kirby Air Riders DK Bonanza Pokemon Legends Z-A Anyone have a suggestion?

Found @bismuth.pinksky.gay and my old Amiibo collection. Confirmed with her it was okay to trade them, and I'm well over the hump to get a Switch 2 with the xbox traded in as well. Probably able to pick up a few games as well.

I wish I had some way to make 200 bucks. -_- I can get within striking distance of a switch 2 by selling/trading in my Xbox, which I barely play anymore. But I just can't QUITE get there. Frustrating. I'll work on it.
