April and I saw The Songs of Johnny & June at the Thousand Islands Playhouse the other night! Great performances by the two leads, and the 3-piece band playing with them is super tight and sounds great. The show runs until November 23!

I just found out that our local library partners with a other libraries in Ontario for shared access on Libby, which vastly increases my access to audiobooks!

Took Lauren to see Of Monsters and Men in Toronto last night but one of the singers lost their voice! They played 4 songs without her then told us to keep our tickets and cancelled the show. Kind of a bummer but the songs they did sounded great so hopefully they can reschedule soon!

The greatest compliment ever: a coworker at my office stopped in to say, "Hey, do you play basketball? Someone the other day told me you were really good, like you can really play." 🥲 (I'm old now but used to be ok in my 20s and 30s)

Update: even though lots of reviewers said they're good for wide feet, apparently my old feet are ultra wide. They're light and look good but have to send them back and keep searching for something that fits a little better.

Watched episode 1 of The Chair Company and it's an insane fever dream. 10/10 would recommend if you like Tim Robinson.
