Bad thing today: I got to clean up the decomposed mouse I found in the garage. That was fun. Good thing today: Roommate called me while I was napping to say there was a surprise at the front door. It was bonus coffee (an iced chai latte for me)! I’m going to focus on the good.

Was handing my roommate her Zepbound & she asked “Did they draw blood from your upper arm?” Me: Yeah. Why? She points. I have crappy veins that roll. This was the second person to try & draw my blood. But I haven’t had a bruise like this since the time it took 3 people. Doesn’t hurt though.

So back many years ago (at least 2013), my roommate got a new phone and gave me her old Blackberry. I kept her number and she got a new one. I still occasionally get texts and phone calls for her. It just amuses me that this information is still being scanned for sales purposes.

Decided to try reading Philip Dick short stories because I enjoyed movies based on them like Total Recall & Minority Report. They are good but creepy! Just read one where robots were designed to help fight in a war & ended up evolving until they were going after the humans that created them.

A1C was 12.9. This is not good. Need to get better at managing my diabetes. Weird scaly patches on my back are normal and nothing to worry about. Had my first Pap smear in about ten years. Boy, I don’t miss those at all.

I do not want to go outside but I have a doctor’s appointment and needs must. Pretty sure I’m going to get yelled at because I haven’t been taking my meds or my insulin and I definitely don’t eat healthy. So heat and heat (my doctor is pretty nice but still…)

The delivery person put my chai latte directly in front of the door and I had to go out through the garage to get it. It is only 84 Fahrenheit out there but it feels like it’s hotter. Supposed to be 94 today so I think that’s enough outdoor time for today.

I prefer Brats or Polish sausages. Yellow (preferably Plochman’s but French’s is also good) mustard and raw onions.

Just had to google the difference between a colt and a foal - the burning question at 3 in the morning. A colt is the term for an intact baby male horse. A foal is the generic term for a baby horse. Why I had that question in my mind I will never know.

So I am having computer problems. Been trying to get my system up and running since 7:20. First I had no internet. Then I can’t use my laptop screen. And then I lost access to my third monitor. Now I’m back to not being able to use my laptop screen. It’s been a long day.

Slow day. I was in available for over 25 minutes at one point. Got to take a robo call today. We do not take them so I got to hang up on “Skyler”. I checked, and “Skye” had called earlier and was told we only take live calls. Apparently they decided not to pass that on.

In the middle of a call and the provider said “representative” because she didn’t like the fact that their claim wasn’t on file. I responded with “I am a representative.” Really not sure what she thought was going to happen there.

33 minutes to go and then I am free!

Took four tries before the provider got my name right. No, sir, it is not Ganaz. It’s D as in delta!
