Tumble has been extra cuddly today and as we are getting ready for bed, he wants to kiss, kiss, kiss. He isn’t normally a dog that does lots of kissing, but he is starting to show his affection this way. #tumble26

Tumble found a collar at Grandma’s (she collects donations for rescues) and thought it was a happy new toy! He was allowed to play with it. He was so amusing when he first found it and was pleased with himself that he stole it. #tumble26

For the second time this week, this little boy was more interested and obsessed with BALL instead of treats. He still likes the treats, but he definitely puts a priority on ball. So cute. #tumble26

Happy Birthday Baby

We got a short round of ball throwing before the rain started this evening. When we came in, Tumble put his ball down to eat his treat. I picked up the ball and he then dropped his treat waiting for me to throw the ball. Ball is so important to Tumble. #tumble26

When I saw Tumble loves BALL, I mean it. He knows when one has been moved. He sits with his tennis balls in the extra recliner. He brings them into the workspace to just stare at them. I hope everyone has something in your life that brings you the same joy as a ball for Tumble. #tumble26

I thinking something is pranking me. In the past day, my fancy wireless headphones for work have broken, my office chair all of a sudden won’t stay up and keeps getting shorter, and I am having connection issues trying to listen to a podcast. Why is everything broken?😡

Not sure if BlueSky is having issues or what. Tried to upload a 12 second video of Tumble and it just keeps “processing.” So instead, here he is in the early morning light, in the other recliner, just watching me. And a bonus picture of his tennis balls lined up on the chair. #tumble26

When Tumble decides it is break time, he means it. We did get outside today and threw the ball until he got tired. He will run and run and run. And then just decide he is done and go to the house. Smart little boy. #tumble26

From yesterday (late posting). Tumble yields his cuteness expertly. He knows how to get what he wants and will give cuddles and nuzzles for extra attention. The simple joy he brings my life is one of the best things in the world. #tumble26

Tumble loves to play ball, but at Grandpa’s house, his toys have a place. I gathered 3 of his balls and a couple other of his toys and tried to play with him tonight. He would chase the toy, and then immediately go put it away in his pet bed. He is very neat. #tumble26

Tumble has been the focus of a bath from his brother this evening. Half of the fur on his face is wet and slicked back. The other half is unruly. Not sure Keeschka has a career as a stylist. But Tumble was patient. #tumble26

Tumble had a nice day hanging out at Grandpa’s. The best part was when he snuggled in between Grandpa and the chair arm, and Grandpa scratched his ears for a couple hours. There were some sleepy/dreamy moments when he was fully relaxed. #Tumble26

Tumble had a fun filled day visiting Grandma. I tried to bounce the tennis ball over him at one point, and it bounced up into his face. I felt so bad. But he was okay and then we had a giggle over how badly it bounced. He kept chasing the ball though and needed a rest after. #tumble26

A coworker sent this to me today because it reminded her of Tumble. Who, by the way, is still getting booked hamburgers mixed with his dinner. He really likes it. And I am making it fresh every night. #tumble26

GOTCHA day! 3 years with Tumble and I have loved every minute. He now understands this home is his place, Mom just pays the mortgage. He loves his big kitty brother. His grandpa is his favorite person. And Grandma’s house is the best place to play ball & get treats! #tumble26

Tumble was a cautious, careful, and a bit frightened little boy when I met him 3 years ago today. He was so sweet and good, but he didn’t know he was safe yet. I am so happy he came to my home. Tomorrow is his gotcha day and we will celebrate. #tumble26
