How much it means to be able to say that my first collection of poetry, "You're Called By The Same Sound," will be published in August by @thirdhandbooks.bsky.social. It's been a long road to this future, and I wouldn't have any other way—I believe in the work of small presses, now and forever.

Last September I facilitated a poetry workshop for Mississippians on Sundays, pulled from about 8 years of archival research. This community workshop project is the thing I’m most proud of, and this lovely zine of the poems we wrote together is just one of the many good things to come out of it.
