art parties really are helping me grow out of my shell and getting me to get out of my comfort zone with my art. I am so glad I was introduced to these and am thankful to my friend who told me about lofi 💞 I've met a lot of friends and made a lot of great memories and can't wait to make even more!!

Like a lot of people, art parties got me back into drawing. It inspired me to keep learning and trying new coloring/drawing techniques 🥺 All the people I've met and friends I've made are so supportive and I'm grateful for that.

I'm sadly not very active atm but AP have been a huge boost in my motivation and just a very welcoming and positive community. I hope it continues to be a fun space for many new comers and many people who wish to connect with each other through creativity and art and ffxiv in general. Thank you🩷

Art parties have not only given me a chance to connect with other lovely creative folks in XIV, but it's also given me a reason to keep practicing and grow/learn! There are no expectations and it's a great starting point to jump in and flex those artistic muscles.

APs are one of my favourite parts of playing and being a part of the XIV community 💜 Although I haven't had time to properly participate in one in a while, I'm always happy to attend whenever I do have the time to! I've been attending APs since around 2022 and hope to visit more this summer 🥰🫶

I honestly love showing up at art parties and enjoying the vibes and seeing people dress up, take pictures, see the art in the tags it makes me so happy to see people create together! I am very shy and usually hide in a corner, barely talk(if i am not a host)and disappear quickly but I still love it

Just going through Shanasae's AP post and gosh everyone is so talented! The AP community really is so inspiring!! I feel like a kid in the candy store looking at all these diverse and unique art styles, gposes and writing! 💕 I've got a loooong way to go

I'm on a break from APs right now but I am forever grateful to the community for the motivation and passion for art that's shared between everyone💙 Drawing people's wols have been such a fun challenge and a wonderful way for me to learn to capture different characters in a medium of portrait

APs are my favorite thing on FFXIV! Met so many friends and memories there♥ I love dressing up to themes, seeing everyone's beautiful glams and venues, and having a space to have fun and try things without pressure! Also, looking back at art of strangers, that I now call friends 😭💗 2020-2025

APs started as way of practicing drawing but turned into so much more, I've met so many new friends and lately it's really challenged me to be more creative with what I draw rather than just copying what I see!

lrp; adding to the chorus of ffxiv art party love. I've been able to slowly improve and experiment with my own art without external pressures of "professional quality", but most importantly I've met so many kind and friendly people whose skill and genuine passion are inspiring.

I actually keep very large canvases with all the art I've made for others in APs. They're not all covered here but these are most of my 2024 drawings, when I first started going to APs. I didn't really draw backgrounds prior to art parties.

Joining AP's a year ago has been genuinely the most fun I've had doing art in the longest time The love everyone puts into their characters is always a joy to see 💕💕 ^^

APs are where I rebuilt consistently drawing! Especially as life got busier, it's an active effort to carve out time to maintain muscle memory and nourish the creative mind. I met lots of wonderful people this way! APs are also the foundation of my current IRL creative coworking spaces :>
