Got the green light from the ethics committee today to launch my patient and public survey! 🎉 I’m excited to drive forward this important public involvement work as part of my PhD on DCTs. I’ll be exploring patient and public preferences for using technology to collect data in clinical trials.

Day 2 of the NIHR Stats conference! Today I’ll be facilitating a breakout session with Jack Elkes, Marie Miller and Francesco Lala from @imperialctu.bsky.social This session was born out of our survey of barriers and facilitators in RCTs of digital health interventions (and a love of board games)!

Honoured to have been awarded Best Presenter (2nd) at the @imperialcollegeldn.bsky.social School of Public Health PhD Symposium. It was great to share the results of my systematic review and show how they motivate my other work packages. Great confidence boost to present at the SCT Conference!

With the first year of my PhD nearly over (time flies!), I had my Early Stage Assessment today! It was great to discuss my research so far and future plans. My assessors asked great questions that I look forward to reflecting on. Overall, far less daunting than I expected and an amazing milestone!
