I wish there was a 24 hour emergency library for if you're out amd about and realise you'll finish your book at 3am. E-books are good for this, but there's WiFi signal and battery life and books are too important to trust to it.

I had a dream about moving house to be closer to work. It was anxious at the time but kinda funny in retrospect. That block of flats was definitely very haunted. It'd start out normal, even quite nice, then suddenly, silent hill looking stairs down to a bar infested by giant multicoloured maggots.

Outside of TiTs remake I'm playing Quartet (the new indie RPG not the master system game). I've seen a few people play it on streams and it looked cool, with octopath/LaL vibes. I'm enjoying playing it so far.

Incidentally I really want to know where my childhood giftedness went... most people give me answers that sound like either 'lol you weren't gifted at all' or at least 'you were just doing really easy tasks, when you grow up things got harder'. These make me feel even more like killing myself.

I know that a lot of my fear of playing a game on easy, even accidentally, is an extreme fear of doing something morally wrong and being punished and/or treated like a lesser life form, rather than a rational response. I feel the same way as when I accidentally eat eggs that aren't free range.

Between the battle themes of sky 1st remake and Katarina's chapter in Quartet, more RPGs need Jazz soundtracks.

Whenever someone in ys ix says Crimson King, I think of the song by King Crimson. And that makes it way better. Not only does that song make me feel good, the lyrics remind me of trails of cold steel.
