Amazing weather weekend in Seattle. Just took a great walk down to the market - had chowder and ginger beer for lunch, got fish and veg for dinner. Love that I can do this easily and without a car.

It took until this evening, but I rode the Crosslake Connection! Wow. It’s been a long time coming and I am so proud to have been a (small) part of making it happen. These projects can be so hard, and take so long. It was so rewarding to see the masses and the excitement all day.

We were in TN and VA this weekend. Weirdest thing: seeing cops doing their jobs (speed traps, traffic stops, talking to panhandlers). It made me even more aware of how cops in WA have just … stopped doing any of those things.

Our (only) car has a major issue; went in to the dealer Thursday and today I heard I should know something tomorrow. Good thing we have e-bikes and live near frequent transit so this hasn’t been a life-devastating inconvenience.
