Exhausted and in pain a lot but I think the last couple years have shown me I can get my bad back to the point of somewhat of a stalemate by keeping active. The pain will always be there but at least I’m living my life again rather than letting it keep me down.

People comment often on how pale I am despite being outdoors a lot All I can say is: UPF clothing. Sun shirts, field pants, synthetic moisture-wicking fabrics. Avoid burning, bugs, poison oak/ivy, getting poked too bad by sticks/thorns, and any worry of getting drenched all-in-one.

We went on a bird walk over the weekend and saw so many baby animals. Baby turkeys, swallows, kingbirds, raccoons, groundhogs, robins, chipmunks, etc The highlight was the baby turkeys though. They can fly at that age and just don’t look right.
