For all of my complaints about the NYT's headlines (and coverage of, e.g., protests on campus), I don't think one could fairly say that the NYT has caved to Trump. To the contrary, the NYT is one of the few legacy media orgs that has been willing to assert and defend its First Amendment rights.

I'm extremely proud of our special operations forces pulling off this rescue. What I'm not proud of is that they shouldn't be there in the first place because we're in a war of choice led by imbeciles putting our troops in harm's way.
