How do I get myself "cancelled" and claim that my free speech has been eroded so that I too can get extensive free mainstream media coverage (Telegraph, Times, Irish Times, BBC etc) to promote my work? (which for me is an exhibition that is on at 1200 Postcards in Hastings until Aug 24 btw)?

Another fascinating read -- and how exciting to see bloggers bouncing off each other as if it's 2008 again. FWIW, one of the guiding principles for my next collection of weird stories is to avoid setting things in the past, fun as it is; and to *try* to tell stories that could only be set now.
