Excited to share the first results out of my ARC Early Career Industry Fellowship – starting with these timely results. The emergence of un-checked online sale and delivery of alcohol to the home has seen an expansion in the availability of alcohol and heightened risk of harm to our community.

Good news story! Today the ACMA announced the decision to not register revisions the commercial TV industry proposed for the Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice. This means that 800+ additional hours will not open up for alcohol ads to further flood our TVs.

A timely study drawing attention to the mandatory requirements now in place for alcohol companies to display the evidence-based pregnancy health warning. The study shows that many alcohol companies delayed introducing the warnings during the lengthy three-year transition phase.
