It finally came! Ordered this pocket #watercolor palette from bluestarcraftmx on Etsy awhile back to have an all in one tiny kit for #urbansketching and it got here earlier this week. Filled it with some of my favorite colors and today seems perfect for a test run. After it stops snowing.

Packing for a trip always reminds me of the paradox of choice. I know I’m happiest when I pack lightly, whether it’s art supplies, camera gear, or clothes. But every time I struggle with it, I end up wanting to plan for everything. Unrelated note, trying to decide on a single watercolor palette 😅

Lately I’ve been feeling the urge to spend more time on art with physical media and less on photography. Last trip I took a small sketchbook with me to try some watercolors and think I want to expand on that. 26 days before my next trip, wonder how much practice I can get in for #urbansketching

Everything’s a little draining today, so going to look back through some photos of Alaska and debate on what to do next.
