For those waiting on my 31st movie review, I have some news: I won't be covering just one movie, otherwise I'll be missing out on the big talks of other movies. Instead, for the final review, I will be breaking the rule by watching at least FIVE movies! I've already watched one, so now it's four.

Its also current physical nostalgia for some of us! Haloweentown was filmed in St. Helens which is a still relatively local to me. Every October they set up historical downtown and their park and open up the theater and bay. Its a massive event! Its just good Halloween fun all around ♡

24th film: The Monkey (2025) After discovering an old toy Monkey, the twin brothers are haunted by brutal deaths each time the key is turned. Although they presumably discarded the cursed toy, it somehow returned 25 years later. This will be a spoiler-free review!

23rd film: Frankenstein (2025) Guillermo del Toro's most recent film and newest adaptation of Mary Shelley's revolutionary gothic novel of a brilliant yet egotistical scientist attempting to create life, only to be his ultimate undoing. This will be a spoiler-free review! /1

22nd film: Under The Skin (2013) A female alien disguised as a human to go and prey on lonely men in the evening hours of Scotland. Though it's not horror, being a sci-fi/thriller still somewhat counts. This will be a spoiler-free review. /1

21st film: Relic (2020) A woman, along with her daughter, return to her old house to watch over her elderly mother, who has a severe mental disorder. However, they notice something darker lurking here as the mother gets more erratic. This review will have SPOILERS! You've been warned! /1

20th film: Oddity (2024) I'm loving these Irish horror films, man! A blind psychic strives to find the man responsible for her twin sister's death a year ago, so she brought a wooden golem to a couple's home to find the answers she seeks. This will be a spoiler-free review! /1

I just called a bunch of democratic senators and I just wanted to say this to anyone who believes all hope is lost and we'll never be able to change things in this country. I was able to talk to Senator Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada directly after a brief surprise because I was NOT expecting /1

to talk to a US senator today. I told her about the dangers of KOSA for LGBTQ+ communities and marginalized communities across the country and directly told her that although the intention of protecting minors from harmful content is good, this bill is NOT the right way of going about it. /2

I referenced the MANY MANY civil rights groups that oppose KOSA and after my VERY long message, she flat out said to me "Wow, I actually did not know this. Thank you very much for telling me, I will make sure this information is passed to my colleagues and thank you for calling me today!" /3
