Sorry to have been gone so long to those that remember me. *grins* Had a bad sinus infection and allergies for a couple of months. Takes longer to recover since the transplant. I should be around more now.

This actually makes me emotional because it simultaneously shows the relevance of critical thinking, the arts, literature, history, and the law—and precisely why Trump is trying to erase all of them. Fighting back with liberal arts is an actual act of beauty.

A reminder that there are communities like disability justice communities, BIPOC activists, farm workers, etc. who have been doing organizing work for DECADES and know the strategies that work. Find those organizers. Learn from and work with them, rather than starting from scratch.

I forgot to eat supper at about 2 am I awoke to my dexcom alarm. My blood sugar had already dropped to 60 so I tried to eat but still "zombified" what I call it when my sugar level drops to far to think clearly. Took me 5 minutes to call for help. They got to me and got my sugar up, was a close one.

Today would have been my friend Val Brisco's 61st birthday. But she died a few months ago from heart failure. It's got me sad today missing her. She was such a good person kind and generous. I'm glad she lived long enough to see me get my transplant, she supported me so much thru those years.

Had fun running my D&D campaign last night. Stuff is getting reaady to really start happening soon. gave them more info. This game will lead to the end campaign in the multi year story line that I started 10 years ago. *smiles*

Gonna run a D&D game tonight. First time sine back before the transplant in July. *smiles*

I caught up on the several episodes I missed due to the transplant so I could watch the big fight last night on Critical Roll. Took me since before Xmas. *grins*

So my little niece Daisy & I watch lots of Bluey. Today I was home alone flipping thru TV & saw it on & watched it for an hour. I've seen them many times, Daisy & I love them. Can't tell her I did it she'll be upset. So now it appears I'm sneaking episodes behind her back. *grins* I have a problem.

I’ve posted before about how helpful I’ve found the Headspace app, but I just discovered that they have an audio-described Move exercise specifically focused on disabled movement and dance, and now I love them even more. (All exercises have captions and haptic available already.)

So I haven't really talked about this much. But due to one of my transplant meds my blood sugar has gone nuts my A1C has gone from an average if 5.1 for years to my last one at 7.6. With a lot of highs above 300 and as a result my vision has dropped from about 3 feet from my eye to 1 foot. 1/2
