The Autonomy Project started in a single room, with a handful of queer folks and a dream. Now we’ve hosted hundreds of events, welcomed thousands of people, and built a space where showing up as your full self is the standard, not the exception. Thanks for building it with us.

Juneteenth isn’t just a day on the calendar. It’s a checkpoint in a struggle that never really paused. Freedom didn’t land all at once. Not in 1865, and not now. It came in fragments. With loopholes. With conditions. And for Black queer and trans folks, it’s still showing up in pieces (if at all).
