Random things people take from your pub. The music stand on (attached to) the piano has been stolen, yesterday, we think. Confused not only for why, but also how?!

I’m up town today. Found a ‘cafe & bar’ to retreat to for a few min. Asking for a packet of crisps “salt and vinegar maybe”has turned into me getting fries with vinegar. #confuzzed

You may be surprised by this but we’ve never made it into the Good Beer Guide and it’s down to not enough people scoring our excellent cask beer. Incidentally we are undecided whether we actually need to be included in the GBG as you can find us listed on What Pub anyway. Is the GBG irrelevant now?

We’ve closed the pub for a week to have a rest... *goes and takes down a wall* Resting going well then.

Ooh. The cask that got left behind… I can’t recall why we didn’t get to serve it at our pop up - but here it is. 3ish years later served with a sparkler. It’s delicious! Brick ESB (when they were still in Peckham and good). And it’s only here tomorrow. NYD.

Enjoyed this years Pigs Ear beer festival in ‘ackney last night. Plenty of super beers, a few not so… But why is it always so hard to get some water? Much consternation when I asked for my bottle to be refilled! #caskbeer
