We don’t have a lot of new information regarding the mass firing of the remaining Department of Education employees; it appears the Trump administration has used the government shutdown as an opportunity to finish destroying the department of ed. If there are no employees, it exists in name only.

nowhere is safe from moneyed reactionary efforts, especially when large churches partner with political orgs, increasingly common and likely to be more so as the Christian nationalist coalition attempts to make full use of their institutional capture of the government and courts.

Nearly 70% of Pinellas schools accepting vouchers are unaccredited, yet accredited schools like Miami Northwestern may face cuts to AP courses that help make college degrees affordable.
