Went with my son for his college interview today, and he's been accepted (provided he gets his predicted grades). He's pleased at it's his first choice and the one he really wants to go to. My college years don't feel so long ago - but it will be 30 years in Sept 26. Those years have gone fast.

Decorations now up for Christmas. It’s kind of odd putting them up really as none of us in the house are religious at all, so we won’t be attending church or anything like that. It’s just having the greenery and lights on dark evening makes it brighter.
