It's been several weeks since I finished Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road's story & I still think about it a lot. It's a pretty challenging game to talk about in many ways, so I did my best to encapsulate it in its entirety while acknowledging the messy aspects that surround the game's production.

Heat is a good movie. This is the second time I watch it and even knowing how it ends, it's very well crafted. Nothing outright negative I can bring up except maybe using the black character as a throwaway (very cliche). However, it is way too much in control. I don't know how to explain it.

Awhile back a friend was describing the mdoern parser game scene as "historical reenactment", and it's making me think about niche action genres too. I see a lot of devs making games in these genres trying to modulate their design so they're more accessible to modern audiences, which rarely works...

When I'm not engaging much with modern art, my first thought is "damn I'm out of touch, I should see what's out there" not "art all sucks now". It's arrogant to think that you've ever seen all there is to see when great art was made long before you were born and will be made long after you're gone.

I've been recommended Absolum but I already have very mixed feelings with beat'em ups with stats and RPG nonsense, so playing a a roguelite beat'em up sounds like self inflicted damage. Not judging the game, I just know myself.

Had a shocking revelation recently: I might not like donuts anymore? Like, the simple, unadultered, only sugar glazed donut. No chocolate or fancy stuff. It's crazy because I've always loved them and the texture is still goated but the flavour doesn't hit like that anymore. It's just sweaty for me.

I tried Watch Dogs yesterday and I'm amazed at the fact that modders ported features of a 2013 build and it has: - A more cohesive storytelling. The beginning in the retail game is BUTCHERED - Decent driving!!!! Alas it wasn't enough to turn it into my fabled Driver 4 but shoutout to the modders!

I'm invoking what little clout I have as a prominent uploader and fan of Sega Genesis/Mega Drive music to call upon the community to stop this already. This technically naive bit of misinformation has been bouncing around for decades at this point. (see alt text)

There was a lot of effort behind the scenes to make this a hit! EA released a whole EP with remixes by huge names from the house/dance scene: Benny Bennasi, Paul van Dyk, Junkie XL, Teddybears and, my favourite, one of Armand van Helden's nastiest remixes, straight from his Ghettoblaster era.

There's a pretty good chance that if I tell you guys this is a predecessor to Yume Nikki/Space Funeral, at least a couple of you will believe it just because of the cover.

Great console with a great run. During its gen I was on PS3, so I missed out on its impact but after buying one years later I fell in love with it. It shaped what console gaming has become, and to this day M$ hasn't come close to recapturing the moment.
