Gunna be honest, I feel that funny post about "sometimes the curtains are just blue" has done more harm than good because it's become a hammer to beat down anyone trying to do media analysis.

I think one of the things that I keep in mind is that the biggest hurdle to getting published is to finish writing your book. Not even in a "you miss all the shots you don't take" way, but that writing takes so much self discipline, that most people who say they are writing a book never finish it.

I always hate going to new sites because it means I need to readjust my follow lists and dashboard. I'm finally starting to see things I like, like books and tv shows, but I'm still lacking those comedy/funnyman accounts orz
