Excited to learn what the future holds for the Disney Parks / Epic Games collaboration. This upcoming Fornite recreation of Galaxy's Edge could enable some really ambitious digital-to-physical interactivity.

Had a chance to record the new hologram added to Fire of the Rising Moons. Shadows of Memory gave us our first look at Tohan Lege for Season of the Force, but he remained unseen during his original fireworks monologue until the Disneyland 70th celebration brought this long-announced addition.

Today is the 6th anniversary of Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland. I find myself thinking back to that time, when characters appeared through park closing, and we all had a shared alibi for interaction. Today, characters disappear at 4pm, and the fractured timeline strains diegetic conversation.

Presumably a remnant of previous lightsaber training shows, the Ghorman Saja in Disneyland Paris are using an unlicensed third-party knockoff dueling saber anyone can buy. So, naturally, I did. They also attached the blade with gaffer tape (!) so I went ahead and painted the emitter black:

For the Star Trek: Red Alert walkthrough at Universal Fan Fest, they created a "Spaceport Los Angeles" logo. While there is, sadly, no merchandise featuring this parks-specific sigil, I'm happy to report that they have added a gobo to the side of the building midway through the run of the event.

Bard-wear Wars!

I've gone a little nuts with my personal mix-and-match Savi's hilt assembled over the last six years. (You're really not supposed to mix the front and back switch plates, but I couldn't resist.) Think I might scrape off some of that gold on the top sleeve.

Not only does the new "Reclaimed and Reforged" hilt theme at Savi's Workshop feature a switch plate with vents to show the glowing Kyber crystal underneath, but there's also one of the four sleeves with holes that show the blinking upper lights if placed on the top half of the chassis.

First look at the return of the Saja in Disneyland Paris! (via pixiedust.be on Instagram) The costumes are unchanged from their appearance on the Galactic Starcruiser. This is the first time characters from that experience have appeared elsewhere in the parks.

The Fortnite watch party for Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld is like watching a show in a bar. (If the bar let you fight stormtroopers in the basement.) It's fun, with an assortment of in-universe nooks to watch the episodes from, but perhaps not the ideal premiere method for a first viewing.

"A Gathering of the Resistance with Rey" at Disneyland's Star Wars Nite has been updated to include First Order banter with Bard! This is the first event year since the ancient droid was installed on the platform where the First Order has their annual showdown with Rey and, now, Vi Moradi.

Moving the "Heroes of the Rebellion" to the Launch Bay queued meet locations is a huge improvement over previous event years' placement. #DisneylandAfterDark #StarWarsNite

4 years ago today, I met the Mona Lisa of all Star Wars art: Bob Mackie's original illustration for Bea Arthur's costume in the Holiday Special. I got dressed up and everything.

A new edition of The Traveler's Guide to Batuu was published today, by Chronicle Books. Aside from minor formatting, the content is identical to the 2020 becker&mayer! edition, including Halcyon mentions and that Ohnaka Transport Solutions was "one business to recently move into the spaceport".
