But we are now in an alternative reality where peace and justice don't matter, and we are all expected to believe that this is all for American wealth and prosperity. And of course an immigrant Congresswoman can be threatened with deportation if she speaks truth to power.

Is peace a Riviera on Gaza with Palestinians again displaced? Or is peace Russia amassing a swathe of Ukraine? How can there be peace without justice.

I just want to say that life is very difficult right now. To witness the transformation of a democracy to oligarchy, to see humans shackled and removed to one of the worst prison complexes known for its human rights abuses, and an anti-vaxxer becoming Health Secretary is all absolutely crushing.

It is indeed a frigid and clear blue sky here in western Wisconsin and 7 degrees Fahrenheit today.
