This is the most anti-science thing I have watched today. What is most shocking about this is all of these statements are being made without any scientific evidence to back it up. There are very few safe options to treat pain and fever in pregnancy so this is also an attack on women's health.

Fever in pregnancy can cause preterm labor and / or miscarriage. Pregnant women who present with infections and have a fever receive Tylenol to treat the fever for this reason. Other options like NSAIDS are not safe in pregnancy and are contraindicated, especially after 20 weeks.

Additionally acetaminophen (Tylenol) as a safe antipyretic medication can help prevent febrile seizures in children with viral and other infections or with a robust post vaccination inflammatory response. The recklessness of these announcements by non medical professionals is very shocking.

Fun Fact: autism was first described 1943-44 by Dr. Leo Kanner. Tylenol hit U.S. shelves in 1955.
