Finished 6-2 at the #SCGCon Standard $5k! 21st place isn’t enough to make the prize cut but picking up a deck I hadn’t played for about a month and only having two losses to my two worst matchups was a great result! Now if only I could snag an RC qual…

Finished 4-4-1 at the RC, 504th place out of 1328 players. A marked improvement from DC is good, and I don’t have any regrets about how I played - at best a few inaccuracies with imperfect information. Definitely needed more wear//tear! Planning to try the standard $5k tomorrow!

So when WotC announced all the Universes Beyond sets were going to be standard legal going forward I remember a lot of doomposting, while I was one of the few I saw saying “hold up let them cook”. And seeing the reaction to today’s spoilers, can’t say I don’t feel at least a tiiiny bit vindicated.
