Gah. Passive aggressive BS is something we should be done w/. Then it rears its ugly head at work. There have been comments that what the world is seeing now is that America is broken, and cannot stop the evil. The same could be said for other smaller scale systems that are meant to protect people.

whoo hoo!! One of my previous grad students whom I left with a colleague when I left my previous institution, defended his PhD today!! He's been chugging along steadily, becoming a parent, and getting his publications, and it is FANTASTIC that he is all done! SO many congratulations to him!!

oooh, my little cactus survived my re-potting and seems to be thriving!! It's been going for over two years now, which is the longest I've kept any plant alive. 😁 My dad always had a cactus in his office because he didn't have to worry about caring for them; and I am now the same. 😂
