As a semi-professional photographer and amateur archivist, it kills me when people share photos by screenshotting them on their phones. I get that it's now always obvious how to download original copies, but I feel like most people aren't aware (or care) about the lost fidelity. 🙁

MakeMHz has issued a DMCA takedown against Pandora, an automated way of accessing Xbins. Xbins is a repository of homebrew apps, games, and BIOSes for the Original Xbox that has been around for many, many years. Xbins still exists, but Pandora is now unavailable to download or be developed publicly.

I finished up work on another video project to go alongside the Xbox VGA boards. It's a simple YPbPr video and stereo+SPDIF audio adpater with a TI video amp, and the ability to turn the built in HD low pass filters off in that amp. Similar to a newer XOSVP or better HDAV pack.

I got a debug kit original Xbox in the mail today. This one was used at Pipeworks. I wiped down half and looks like it should just be superficial dirt thankfully. No cracks or scratches. 👍 Going to open it up and give it a thorough cleaning. Stay tuned.
