My hearing test today went good. Improved another 5dB since Thursday's test. Exactly a week ago I was in the hospital and couldn't hear a helicopter landing.

Realizing that maybe talking about a music festival called "Loud as Hell" so soon after talking about losing my hearing might lead to some assumptions. My hearing loss was a nerve issue due to inflammation and not related at all to loud music!

My hearing test went good and it looks like I'm starting to recover some hearing because the steroid medication is working. I am likely to make a full recovery within a few days to weeks, but even if my recovery stopped here I wouldn't be disabled. So yay, good news!

I had an MRI yesterday morning and they didn't find anything significant. The steroids they're using to treat my hearing loss seem to be working, there's been some improvement so I'm feeling a lot more optimistic about the situation.

In the hospital. Suddenly started going deaf. CT scans show a verrrry small bleed inside my skull, but not enough to account for the hearing loss, just hint at where the real problem is.

This year has been hellbent on reminding me how young 35 actually is. Way too young to be gone, it's not fair.

My doctor followed up on my ultrasound results to tell me they were normal. It didn't register until after the appointment was over that one of the organs she listed as being healthy is one I shouldn't have.
