I am behind schedule on recovery, my doctor suspects the clots have not fully dissolved.

I've got the follow up appointment today to see if I still have blood clots in my lungs. They should be gone/mostly gone, but we'll see.

If I could have absolutely anything Sonic related, I would ask for a Infinite x Mimic prison sitcom.

I normally don't like to make a big deal about my birthday on social media, but this one is special. I came uncomfortably close to not having this one due to my pulmonary embolism last week. I'm really lucky I'm turning 35 today :3 Happy Birthday to me!

How it's going with CrossWorlds: I didn't notice auto-acceleration doesn't work and have been playing without accelerating because I start with boost items and rely on other means to gain speed. But I haven't actually accelerated. Well fuck, I might win some races now LOL

Was watching airplane crash documentaries last night to see if it would trigger nightmares. I ended up having one of the most pleasant dreams I've had in a long time. This was an unexpected result.

A family member wished me a "Happy Mother's Day!" today and I thought it was a passive aggressive jab over me for getting surgically sterilized recently. She was talking about my cat.

The NES came with 5 regular controllers, two turbo controllers, and a joystick. The controllers were dirty and sticky, but otherwise they were in great condition and just needed to be taken apart and cleaned. They all feel brand new.

While taking the NES apart I noticed there were some oddities going on inside. Even though I had to break an anti tamper sticker to open it. It was missing the interior metal casing, and some screws were incorrect. I took a closer look and it looks like the anti-piracy chip has been tampered with.

The NES I got was being stored in an outdoor shed in a humid location, so I wasn't expecting much from it. The inside was full of cobwebs. Still needs a lot of work, but I am making progress.

I got gifted an old NES and managed to get it working, and I was so happy I named myself "Yay" and now everyone in the game is happy too :)
