Last but certainly not least, Rotary rounds out our team as our second mod intern. It’ll primarily be helping out with writing and socials, and they hope to eventually run their own projects!

The night may be long, but our team will be here for our contributors and each other. The first of our mod interns, @willowwormwood.bsky.social, is here to learn about modding zines and help out where they can, especially where art’s concerned!

There’s a certain kind of artistry to Yharnam ranging from the weaponry to the architecture and everything in between. Next on our team is @caramelcocooncreations.com, who with their skills and experience you can count on to help in all things artistic!

Though the Hunt can be lonely, it doesn't have to be. Joining the team is Mod Lap, who with their keen eye for graphic design will be formatting the zine into something even the most uptight Yharnamite would be impressed by!

Leading the Hunt is none other than Mod Hope, whose love for both Bloodborne and fanzines led her to set up Hunter’s Mark. In addition to organizing the zine, they’ll be assisting our writers, creating promo graphics, and continuing to run our socials.

Check your emails! We’ve sent something out to everyone who applied to join our league of moderators, regardless of whether you’ve been accepted or rejected. We’ll be spotlighting the mod team in the days to come.

With the will of those who came before made into our own, moderator apps for Hunter’s Mark are officially closed! We’ll be reviewing your applications and sending out emails as soon as we’ve settled on a final choice for each position, so keep an eye out if you applied!

A similar question, with potentially different results: who is your favorite Bloodborne character? We asked, you answered, and the results may surprise you but probably won’t that much. Eileen the Crow came out on top, followed by Lady Maria and The Doll. Crow grandma sweep!

Who is your favorite Bloodborne boss? We asked, you answered, and the most popular boss turned out to be none other than Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower, followed by Vicar Amelia and Mergo’s Wet Nurse.

Speaking of having company on the mod team, it looks like I’ll have a few hunting partners to work with. We’ll also be opening up applications to be an intern mod, for people who are interested in learning the ropes of zine modding but don’t have any experience yet. See our info doc for details :)

It’s fairly common for zines to include merch of some kind separate from the zine proper, though in our case it’ll be the same price as the rest of the zine (free). The most popular options selected on the interest check were desktop/phone wallpapers and printable bookmarks.

Second question: 90 respondents stated they’d like to contribute in some way to the Hunter’s Mark Zine, with 60 page artists, 37 writers, 26 merch artists, and 9 people who’d like to join me on the mod team. I’d like company on the mod team. It’s lonely over here.

On the first question of our interest check, on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being very interested in this zine, 99 selected 4 or 5 out of a total of 100 respondents! Seems safe to say that we’re pretty excited. (Me too.)
