Cool, hit 200 followers on this app. Here's a fact about #lotr: Theoden did not go to Edoras after Isengard. He went back to Helms Deep, and it's there that Aragorn uses the Palantir, wresting control of it and mastering the seeing stone. It's only after Aragorn leaves, that they return to Edoras.

#artistchallenge: Share your art and programme! I switched from watercolour to #Procreate when my eyes became too bad to see properly without zooming in. Took me three+ years to reclaim my look and style, but I‘m very happy now! First watercolour, then getting progressively better with Procreate.

Bridge of Khazad-dûm This large scale epic was completed earlier this Spring. I included as many narrative notes as possible from Tolkien, creating vignettes within the larger work while adding embellishments not mentioned by the author - an enjoyable part of narrative painting! 66”x80” oil on linen

A lot of people hate on Isildur, servant of the moon, not realizing the pain he went through in #lotr. Peter Jackson actually ruined the character in the movies and I will die on that hill. He's probably one of there most heroic Númenoreans to have ever existed. But go on and tell me he isn't.

Listening to the audiobook of #tolkien 's letters. My dude is so sassy. But the love he has for his children is so palpable. Makes me respect him even more.

Absolutely. Seeing Aragorn's excitement in Rohan and Theodens responses always gets me hyped! ROHAN WILL ANSWER. The books do it a bit differently with the red arrow being brought by Hirgon, sadly he wouldn't survive 💔

The fellowship is my favorite part as well!! It opens up like the hobbit almost but ends up a horror story with the ringwraiths stalking them through the early chapters. Always awesome name, Undomiel!
