I understand why some indie studios will use ai in places, even games I like use it, but I still think it has no place in the creative process. At any point. I will always find more value in the work of a human. Even if its just concept art, hell, even if it's just a place holder.

i like when concept artists are hyper mentats who know both the visual language of firearms/buildings/tanks/clothing/etc + the real problems solved & introduced by design, how they all fit together. i think thats way cooler than denoising a latent image 100 times and picking whats "cool"
