First, there cannot be that many helicopters. It’s not like MASH bringing in 40 wounded soldiers. Second, how big of a douchebag does one have to be to complain about life saving services for children. Let them eat cake.

I used to work near a major metropolitan hospital. The sound of the helicopters would reverberate between the buildings. I was always conflicted between being sad that someone was hurt and being glad the rescue service was there. I never once wished the helicopters away

I live not to far from a hospital and when I see a nightingale helicopter fly over my my house, I love it because I know they are trying to save somebody! Don't know what the hell is wrong with some people!

There was a Ronald McDonald House for out of towners to stay while their children were in the NICU/ ICU or hospital in Austin. He could donate his house for that purpose and staff it with cooks and others to support the families.

But I can: I used to live on the edges of Laurelhurst - and I heard the helicopters daily way back when, and it did not bother me... kid's lives depended on it, so it was... OK.

Lol- so basically all the burgeoning asshole children I went to school with in middle & high school and their still asshole parents are maintaining their absolute assholery standing. In the 90s when I worked at Children’s their big whine was parking and all the cars along the streets. Asshats.

He could cater food to the families of the children daily. Eating hospital food means you have to leave your child's bedside, and the cafeteria's hours are just peak use time. I ended up eating only Dove Ice Cream bars while my son was in NICU for 3 months. They were always available after hours

Did he live there before the hospital was built? Before helicopters were authorized to go to the hospital? I’m sure he could sell & make more than enough to buy a home that’s remote enough that he won’t have to worry about such noise.

I live in a retirement community and F-35's fly over every day. 10 - 15 times a day. Far louder than any helicopter. Helicopters fly over too being I'm 2 miles from a major Hospital. Not one complaint.
